Mary Rosa Dumond, age 70, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at her home. She was born May 12, 1954, the daughter of the late Lester K. and Audie Rachel Tucker Dumond.
Mary was a graduate of Henderson State University. She taught for many years in the Arkadelphia Public School system. Mary enjoyed reading and Sci-Fi books and movies in her free time.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are two sons, Nicholas Dumond (Katherine) of Jonesboro and William Kenneth Dumond of Korea, one daughter, Rebecca Awai (Ryan) of Jonesboro, ten grandchildren, Drake Faulkner, Addleigh Dumond, Addison Awai, Dawson Faulkner, Jack Schweder, Ava Awai, Oliver Awa, Genevieve Dumond, Theodore Dumond and Garbriel Dumond.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Welch Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Darby officiating.
