Arkadelphia man jailed in crack cocaine bust

An Arkadelphia, Arkansas man was jailed when narcotics agents found a sizable amount of crack cocaine, Clark County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Turner announced Thursday, March 6, 2025.

Markeith Lavor Buckley, 37, was arrested after officers with the Group 6 Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at Buckley’s Clinton Street home and discovered more than 130 grams of crack cocaine. The narcotics held an estimated street value of between $7,800-$13,000, according to AddictionResource.net.

Buckley was listed as an absconder on parole at the time of his arrest.

He was arrested and transported to the Clark County Detention Center, where he will be held pending a first appearance before Circuit Judge Blake Batson. Formal charges are pending and will be determined by Turner, with future court dates to follow.
