The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Thursday, Sept. 1

7:15 a.m.
A McRae man reported the theft of his debit card at an Arkadelphia restaurant. By the time he made it to Little Rock and discovered his card was missing and reported it to authorities, three transactions had been made: two in Arkadelphia and one in Benton.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

1:34 p.m.
Police conducted a search for an O’Connell Street man who took his mother’s phone and went on a walkabout, beating at residents’ doors and getting rough with a mail carrier. An officer located him on Pine Manor Drive and followed as he ran back home. No arrest was made.

7:48 p.m.
Officers conducted a search of an Oklahoma man following a Silver Alert from the Idabel Police Department. The subject and his vehicle were ultimately located at a Carter Road residence. A local relative took responsibility of the man until other arrangements could be made. During the search, an officer damaged his patrol car and a sign on the DeSoto Bluff walking trail.

8:55 p.m.
A Unity Road man reported an unknown object caused damage to his vehicle in early May.

Arrests in Clark County

Wednesday, Aug. 31

Casey James Williams, 31, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear.

Friday, Sept. 2

Michael Anthony Arroyo, 39, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for failure to appear, three counts of failure to comply, no registration, two counts of driving without a license and two counts of no insurance.

David Anthony Wilson, 48, was arrested for driving with fictitious tags, no liability insurance and no child passenger restraint.
