Winnie Faye (Wells) Clark, age 81, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Tuesday March 4, 2025, at her home. She was born on September 27, 1943, in Gurdon the daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Susie Hall Wells.
Winnie was a 1961 graduate of Gurdon High School and a 1964 graduate of Draughon Business School. She worked at the Clark County Health Department as a home health clerk and as a secretary for Gurdon Middle School. Winnie was a member of Beech Street Baptist Church in Gurdon. She enjoyed singing and shopping in her free time.
Winnie is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mamie Forthman.
Survivors are her husband of sixty-two years, Eddie Clark, three sons, Brad Clark (Kellie) of Gurdon, Brian Clark (Sena) of Gurdon, and Cleve Clark (Cheli) of Rogers, five grandchildren, Adam Clark (Callie), Anna Henderson (Kendrick), Hallie Wallace (Will), Kelsey Jo Clark, Will Clark, and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday March 7, 2025, at Beech Street Baptist Church with Bro. David Graves and Bro. Marc Crawley officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday at the church.
Interment will be in South Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Adam Clark, Will Clark, Jason Clark, Randall Clark, Will Wallace, and Kendrick Henderson.
Memorials can be made to South Fork Cemetery fund or AWANA Program at Beech Street Baptist Church.
