The Imperials set May show in Arkadelphia

Gospel Music Hall of Famers, The Imperials will perform at Henderson State University on Friday, May 16, 2025.

With a rich musical legacy spanning over six decades and featuring a diverse array of talented members who have contributed to its listing sound and enduring success, The Imperials offers a blend of traditional gospel elements with contemporary influences. Some of the founding members backed Elvis Presley from 1966 through 1971.

Over the years The Imperials have embraced innovation while honoring the roots of gospel music. Albums like “Imperials Live” and “Priority” have become staples in the Christian music canon. Their performances are marked by powerful vocal arrangements, heartfelt lyrics and a commitment to delivering a message of hope and faith.

The Imperials’ May performance promises a night of praise and worship as they deliver their latest music and share the word of God. Their ministry has been honored with four Grammy Awards and 15 Dove Awards in addition to being named to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. The concert will also feature local Christian music artist Shannon Hushaw.
