Farm Credit of Western Arkansas is proud to announce a record-breaking $12 million Patronage Cash distribution to its member-owners across 41 counties in western Arkansas. This marks the 28th consecutive year of sharing profits with members, reinforcing the cooperative’s commitment to supporting agriculture and rural communities. Since 1997, Farm Credit of Western Arkansas has returned more than $186 million in patronage to its members.
“As a cooperative, our success belongs to our members,” said Brandon Haberer, President and CEO of Farm Credit of Western Arkansas. “Patronage is one of the strongest examples of the cooperative difference. When we perform well, our members benefit directly. Putting cash back in the hands of our borrowers strengthens rural communities, fuels agricultural businesses, and underscores our commitment to Enriching Rural Life.”
The patronage program is a key advantage of doing business with a cooperative lender like Farm Credit of Western Arkansas. By sharing profits with its members, the association lowers the overall cost of borrowing while reinvesting in the agricultural economy.
Farm Credit of Western Arkansas is a member-owned financial cooperative serving more than 12,000 members with a loan volume exceeding $2 billion. As part of the national Farm Credit System, which has supported rural communities for over a century, the association provides financing and financial services to farmers, ranchers, rural homeowners, agribusinesses, and timber producers across western Arkansas.
