Sherry Buck

Sharon “Sherry” Lee Buck, age 80, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Wednesday January 29, 2025, at her home. She was born on September 5, 1944, in Saco, Maine, the daughter of the late William Neil and Arline Triplett Collins.

Sherry was a graduate of Henderson State University. She taught school in Hope and Malvern for many years. Sherry was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Hot Springs.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother-in-law, Wayne Buck.

Sherry is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Randall Buck, three sons, Corey Ytzen of Malvern, Devin Ytzen of West Melbourne, Florida, and Regan Ytzen (Jennifer) of Fouke, two daughters, Shila Ytzen of Oxford, Alabama, and Brandy Buck of Bauxite, one brother, Bill Collins (Melissa) of St. Paul, Minnesota, and one sister, Bobby Collins of Gran Marais, Minnesota, twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Mae Buck of Arkadelphia, one brother-in-law, Sam Buck (Brenda) of Lumberton, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would also like to give thanks to Stephanie Adams, Michaela Smith, and Crystal with Elite Hospice and Southern caregivers. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday February 3, 2025, at Welch Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. 

Burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Bismarck.

Pallbearers are Austin Rowland, Cameron Ytzen, Cody Ytzen, Jacob Ytzen, Timothy Edwards, and Corey Ytzen. Honorary pallbearers are Elite Hospice Nurses and Southern caregivers. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you give donations to one of the following, the First Lutheran Church 105 Village Road Hot Springs, AR 71913, Elite Hospice, or Alzheimer’s Arkansas 201 Market Center Drive Little Rock, AR 72205.
