Sidney “Sid” Earl Johnston, Jr. passed from this life on Thursday, December 19, 2024 in his Arkadelphia home at the age of 68. He was born February 28, 1956 in Morrilton, AR, to the late Sidney and Louise Johnston.
Sid spent a 38-year-long career helping people breathe as a Respiratory Therapist at Baptist Health Medical Center in Arkadelphia.
He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Terry Jean.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Johnston; son Ryne (Brenna) Johnston; two daughters, Kellye (Justin) Talamantez and Emily (Brent) Davis; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Larry and Weston Jean. He was a jovial man, a wonderful husband and a great father and grandfather. All will miss him dearly.
Services will be held on January 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of First Methodist Church Arkadelphia.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in front of the chapel,
