Clark County 4-H is adding a new photography project club in 2025.
Youth will participate in hands-on activities to better learn how to use a camera, how to compose a photograph, and will hear from people who use photography with their jobs. Photography is an important skill because it can further careers or be used for community service projects.
Arkansas 4-H has multiple photography-related contests throughout the year. The photography club in Clark County will be led by Cassidy Reeves, who obtained a photography minor from Henderson State University.
Youth interested in joining can contact the Clark County Extension Office at 870-246-2281. Those interested in supporting the new club have multiple ways to do so. The Clark County 4-H Shutterbugs Photography Club is accepting donations through purchases from its Amazon Wishlist; monetary donations to the Clark County 4-H Foundation; or working DSLR camera gear.
