David Andrew Burns, Sr, age 73, of Redfield, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at his home. He was born January 29, 1951, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late Robert Andrew and Iris Christine Wofford Burns.
David was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a retired Police Officer with twenty-eight years of service to the North Little Rock Police Dept. David enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife of fifty years, Mollie Delores Anderson Burns of Redfield, one son, David Andrew Burns, Jr, of Redfield, one daughter, Cynthia Ann Sims (Jacob) of Redfield, one sister, Diana Lynn Winfree of Redfield, two grandchildren, Ethan Dominic Swift and Scarlett Ann Sims both of Redfield.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, AR. 72203.
