The Clark County Sanitation Department will sponsor a countywide large-item pickup the week of Oct. 28 – Nov. 1, 2024.
To request a pickup, call 870-246-7602 Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
To participate, residents must be a current paying customer and live outside the city limits of Arkadelphia, Gurdon or Amity.
The last day requests will be accepted is Friday, Oct. 25, at noon. The county’s sanitation department does not pick up inside the city limits of Arkadelphia, Gurdon or Amity.
Items that may be picked up include: old appliances, furniture, mattresses, metal, lumber and household items.
Items that will not be picked up due to landfill restrictions include: tires, batteries, paint, paper, newsprint, cardboard, household garbage, bagged items or electronics such as televisions, computers and gaming systems.
