Clark County real estate transactions recorded Sept. 6-19, 2024, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.
In an otherwise light cycle of real estate transactions the past two weeks, Barkman Plaza in Arkadelphia changed ownership as the property deed was transferred to Tan Nguyen. The 2,352-SF space, which includes three storefronts, sold for $130,000. Previous owners Sandra and Robert Lessenberry bought the plaza in 2005 for $165,000.
The largest sale in this round was a 2,550-SF brick home on Lexington Circle, in Arkadelphia. Sarah Strickland sold the property to William and Kristina Hickman for $285,900.
The third and final sale of the past two weeks was the exchange of a 1,860-SF brick home at the 1000 block of South 23rd Street, in Arkadelphia. For $148,500 Brayden and Sara Bennett purchased the home from Lloyd and Ruth Moyo. The Moyos bought the place in 2014 for $118,500.
