John David Wright, Sr., age 67, of Caddo Valley, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, near Caddo Valley. He was born August 14, 1957, in Arkadelphia, the son of John Richard and Mona Lou Shackelford Wright.
John was a retired HVAC Technician having worked in Arkadelphia and Hot Springs during his career. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene at Caddo Valley. John enjoyed fishing and camping in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Richard Wright and one brother, Charles Richard Wright.
John is survived by his mother, Mona Ashlock (Clayton) of Menifee, AR, his wife, Linda Wright of Caddo Valley, one son, John David Wright, Jr., of Caddo Valley, one step-brother, Jason Johnston (Courtney) of Arkadelphia, one step-sister, Amanda DeRoss (Mike) of Utica, NY, and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service is being planned and will be announced.
