Elizabeth Ann Johnson, age 66, of Glenwood, passed from this life on Sunday August 25, 2024, at her home. She was born on August 8, 1958, in Dallas, TX, the daughter of the late Marcus and Shirley Johnson Hudgins.
Elizabeth graduated from Glenwood High School in 1976 and attended Henderson State University. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Glenwood. Elizabeth worked at Buck’s Pharmacy and First Step in Glenwood. She enjoyed sewing, needle craft and Gourds.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ricky Hudgins, and one brother-in-law, Joe Moreland.
Survivors are her husband, Chris Johnson of Glenwood, two sons, Christopher Johnson and Russell Johnson both of Glenwood, three brothers, Richard Hudgins (Deborah), Rodney Hudgins, and Roger Hudgins all of Glenwood, one sister, Ellen Moreland of Glenwood, and one grandchild, Boston Johnson.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 30, 2024, at Bethel Cemetery in Glenwood with Bro. Keith Howell officiating.
No visitation is planned.
