Charles David Winders, Jr, age 87, of Arkadelphia, entered Heaven’s gate on Friday, August 23, 2024, at his home. He was born July 21, 1937, in Salina, KS, the son of the late Charles David and Veda Ozbun Winders, Sr.
Dave was a United States Army veteran. After serving his country he enjoyed his work career in the high tech printing industry and later in the trucking industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dave is survived by his wife, Judy Carole (Shepherd) Winders of Arkadelphia, one step-son, Chad Allen Caldwell of Lexington Park, MD, one step-daughter, Kim Michelle Caldwell of Bismarck and one brother, Calvin Winders of Stamps.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bob Sanders officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
