Sen. Clarke Tucker to keynote Clinton Day Dinner

The Democratic Party of Clark County announced that the 28th Annual Clinton Day Dinner will be Saturday, Aug. 10, at 5:30 p.m. in the Garrison Ballroom on the campus of Henderson State University.

State Sen. Clarke Tucker of Little Rock will bring the keynote address. Sen. Tucker practices law and was elected to the State Senate in 2020. He also served in the Arkansas State House from 2015-2019. Tucker was instrumental in creating the pathway for the Arkansas Imagination Library program to provide books to kids from birth to age 5 across the state. As a strong advocate to Arkansas families, he helped provide free school breakfast and lunch to 49,000 low-income Arkansas families.

Democrats from all over the Southwest and Central regions of Arkansas are attending the dinner. Pike County, Howard County, Garland County, Hot Spring County, Montgomery County, Lonoke County and Saline County Democratic Parties are attending along with the Democratic Club of Hot Springs Village, the Arkansas Democratic Black Caucus, the Arkansas Education Association, and The Young Democrats of Arkansas Caucus.
