Alcoholic Beverage Control OKs Caddo Valley permit, denies Sodexo application

One local business submitted an application in May to the state’s Alcoholic Beverage Control Board for a permit.

According to the ABC website, application was made the week of May 15 by Tracy Rider for The V Bar & Grill to reactivate a permit for restaurant mixed drink maximum at 295 Malvern Road in Caddo Valley.

The website report states that the permit was approved.

At the March 13 ABC Board meeting, Central Mart at 180 Valley St., also in Caddo Valley, was granted a permit for retail beer off premises. Sarah Wilson is listed as owner of the business.

Conditional permits were issued on Feb. 21, 2024, for Road Runner #8, 3111 Pine St., Arkadelphia. This was in the area of retail beer off premises, small farm winery and grocery store wine. Tammeron Green was listed as owner.

At the same February meeting the ABC Board denied three applications for Sodexo Operations at Henderson State University. Application was made on behalf of Sodexo by Stephen Clack for off premises caterer at 1033 Huddleston St.; large attendance facility at Carpenter-Haygood Stadium, 1492 M.H. Russell Dr.; and large attendance facility at the Garrison Center, 1100 Henderson St.
