State vs. Jujuan Obree Marks, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms; Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance (between 4 oz – 25 lbs). Marks, 30, was arrested April 29 following the execution of a search warrant of his Gurdon home by the Group 6 Narcotics Unit. The search turned up seven separate bags of marijuana weighing in at a total of 3 pounds, 2.4 ounces. Two loaded firearms and $3,367 in cash were also seized in the bust.
State vs. Daniel Lee Austin Maxwell, Second-degree Domestic Battery. Maxwell, 23, was arrested at a residence on Malvern Road after Caddo Valley police responded to a domestic disturbance involving Maxwell and a female who was treated for injuries at a Hot Springs hospital.
