
Denice (Dawley) Williams, age 51, of Bryant, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born March 15, 1973, in Arkadelphia, the daughter of Donald Dunlevy and Voniece Webb Dawley, Jr.
Denice was a 1991 graduate of Arkadelphia High School where she participated in band and cheerleading. She was a Badger scholar and a member of the National Honor Society. Denice went on to graduate from OBU in 1995 where she was a cheerleader for three years and a member of the Chi Delta Sorority. She received her master’s degree from HSU in 1997. Denice taught at Birdville Independent School District in the Fort Worth area for seven years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. Denice enjoyed scrapbooking, art and fishing in her free time.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Voniece Dawley, grandparents, Don and Eloise Dawley, Sr. and Virgil and Hattie Webb.
Denice is survived by her father, Don Dawley, Jr. of Arkadelphia, her husband, Steve Williams of Bryant, one daughter, Grace Wagner of Horatio, one aunt, Jane Fray of Crossville, TN and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia with Dr. Lee McGlone and Rev. Jimmy Darby officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church.
