Charlene Smith

Charlene Devonna Smith departed from this life on April 8th, 2024, at 5:30 PM in Hot Springs, AR.  She was born January 31st, 1938, in Mountain Home, AR. to the late Noland and Eula Brown.  She was a member of The Church of God in Arkadelphia, AR.

Charlene was a mom who loved her family very much!  She enjoyed the times all the family would come to visit.  Everyone that sat at her table knows that no one could cook up a good breakfast quite like her! That breakfast was a highlight of the visit all anticipated and enjoyed!  She also loved working in her yard and growing flowers.  She had quite the arrangement of flowers at her home in Pocahontas.  She loved for her flowers to attract the butterflies!  She also got great enjoyment out of feeding her hummingbirds.  Diana said she will always remember sitting on their front porch watching, at times, 40 or more enjoying her feeders.  Most of the family share similar memories…

Her children remember that she was a very attentive mother when her children where sick. She was a mom that cared and washed their faces with a cool cloth to help them feel better! One of her greatest desires was for her whole family to make it to Heaven. She was very vocal about this desire!  Our mom was one of a kind and she was loved very much.  She will be forever missed!
