“Free Tree Fridays” run every Friday between March 22 and April 26.
On Friday, April 26, 2024, seedlings will be given out in Arkadelphia at the Clark County NRCS Office at 640 S. 6th St. The event is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Species will vary based on availability but will include some mix of bald cypress, Shumard oak, cherry bard oak, red mulberry, river birch and/or sycamore.
Limit 5 seedlings per person.
Free Tree Fridays is sponsored by the Urban and Community Forestry Program of the Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division. Seedings are donated by the Arkansas Urban Forestry Council. Funding for the program is provided through a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service.
