Regional lottery ticket sales fall in January

Clark County had Arkansas Scholarship Lottery ticket sales totaling $452,688 in January 2024, according to a report released this week by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration — Office of the Arkansas Lottery.

The figure is down from $483,139 in December lottery sales.

Statewide, Arkansas had lottery ticket sales of $48,146,191 in January; down from $51,710,053 in December.

The seven-county area collectively spent $196,777 less on lottery tickets in January than in December.

The six neighboring counties (county seats in parentheses) surveyed had lottery ticket sales as follows for the month of December:

Dallas (Fordyce) had lottery ticket sales totaling $216,183.50 in January; down from $241,929 the previous month.

Hot Spring County (Malvern) had lottery ticket sales totaling $444,758.50 in January; down from $475,271 the previous month.

Montgomery County (Mt. Ida) had lottery ticket sales totaling $51,424 in January; down from $55,658 the previous month.

Nevada County (Prescott) had lottery ticket sales totaling $198,934.50 in January; up from $195,799.50 the previous month.

Ouachita County (Camden) had lottery ticket sales totaling $740,144.50 in January; down from $842,378.50 the previous month.

Pike County (Murfreesboro) had lottery ticket sales totaling $149,101.50 in January; down from $155,836.50 the previous month.
