Errol James Marie, age 78, of Okolona, passed from this life on Sunday February 4, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent’s in Hot Springs. He was born on February 1, 1946, in Hooma, LA, the son of the late Carroll and Meryl Darsey Marie.
Errol was a self-employed builder both commercial and residential. He enjoyed reading and loved his animals. Errol cooked meals for himself and his dogs as well. He was a humble and giving man who kept “Only What He Needed” in life to get by. Errol gave away most of what he earned to people who were less fortunate in life.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are two daughters, Errolyn Edwards and Trisha Marie both of Louisiana, four grandchildren, two sisters, Meryl Power and Susan Sowa (Randy), six brothers, Billy Marie (Elaine), Jackie Marie (Marian), Dean Marie (Miritza), Grant Marie (Sue Ann), Shane Marie and Kelly Marie (Cathy).
No services are planned.
Memorials may be made to any American Heart Association in Errol’s memory.
