Bettie Cox

Bettie Loreta Cox, age 81, of Amity, passed from this life on Sunday February 4, 2024, at her home. She was born on November 20, 1942, in Pike County Arkansas, the daughter of the late Herbert and Ella Hancock Franklin.

Bettie worked as a planner for Barksdale Lumber Company and spent her later years working as a cashier for Ez-Mart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Don Franklin, two sisters, Perry Ann Welch, and Sue Conn, one son in law, Stoney Harris, and one great grandchild.

Bettie is survived by two sons, Timothy Walters of Delight, and Trenton Cox of Nashville, three daughters, Tana Horn (Kelly) of Murfreesboro, Terina Cook (Scott) of Amity, and Tammy Parker (Randy) of Malvern, one sister Shelia Franklin of Amity, fourteen grandchildren, Justin Cook (Meagen) of Black Springs, Gare Duggan (Tami) of Glenwood, Jeremy Cook (Holly) of Glenwood, Bailey Friend (Taylor) of Nathan, Savanna Cook of Amity, Courtney Parker of Hot Springs, Drew Davis of Lonsdale, Randi Beard (Ethan) of Lonsdale, Noah Cox, Lane Cox, and Addy Cox of Murfreesboro, and Ryan Horn, Vanessa Horn, Dewayne Gray, Michelle Smead, and nineteen great grandchildren. 

The Family will hold services at a later date.
