The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Wednesday, Dec. 27
12:28 p.m.
The mother of a previously reported missing man told police she had located her son in Grapevine, Texas. Nicolas Megee was removed from the NCIC missing persons list.
12:27 p.m.
Officers were summoned to Country Car Wash, 2502 Country Club Road, where a female driver somehow got her SUV stuck in the automatic car wash bay and caused an unknown amount of damage to the wash arm and her vehicle. The owner had to dismantle the wash arm in order for the driver to free her vehicle from the bay. Both she and the car wash owner were advised to inform their respective insurance agents of the accident.
Police investigated a report of terroristic threatening at the 200 block of Clinton Street.
Thursday, Dec. 28
11:27 p.m.
Deadrun Tolefree, 35, of Arkadelphia, was arrested for third-degree domestic battery at 223 N. 22nd St. following a female’s complaint that Tolefree choked and bit her during a domestic disturbance. Tolfree, who had fled after the altercation, returned to the residence while officers were still on scene.
Friday, Dec. 29
Juvenile: 1st-degree criminal mischief
Police investigated a breaking or entering at the 2300 block of Walnut Street.
Saturday, Dec. 30
2:09 p.m.
Patty Ann Williams, 59, of Donaldson, was cited at Walmart for criminal trespass following a store complaint of a banned person on the premises.
3:23 p.m.
Sterling Day, 31, of Crown Point, Indiana, and Jurniece Judith James, 35, of Gary, Indiana, were arrested at 6th and Crittenden streets for criminal mischief following a witness report of two black-clad suspects vandalizing a vehicle parked outside Carpenter Hill Apartments, 670 S. 6th St. An officer was able to intercept the pair as the caller advised they had taken off running toward the police department after slashing the vehicle’s tires and pouring a liquid into the gas tank.
Juvenile: public intoxication, fleeing, disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance.

Police investigated a report of firearm theft at the 700 block of South 19th Street.
10:27 p.m.
Officers conducted surveillance in the area of Duluth Street in search of a male suspect reportedly attempting to get inside a residence and therefore violating an active no-contact order. The suspect had been arrested on Dec. 17 for terroristic threatening and an unrelated warrant following complaints that he’d sent threatening text messages to the complaining female. Police attempts to locate the suspect were fruitless.
