The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, Dec. 11
Police investigated an aggravated residential burglary at the 100 block of Austin Street. CLICK HERE for more details.
Wednesday, Dec. 13
An officer worked a shoplifting incident involving a juvenile.
Thursday, Dec. 14
Officers investigated an aggravated assault on a family or household member. The case involved a juvenile.
11:25 a.m.
An electric bicycle abandoned two week prior at Wholesale Electric, 719 S. 6th St., was given to officers, who parked the vehicle at the police department.
Police investigated a theft of property that involved a juvenile.
Friday, Dec. 15
11:44 a.m.
Vehicular vandalism was reported at Family Dollar’s parking lot.
2:30 p.m.
The owner of a residence at the 1000 block of Haddock Street reported the theft of every window shutter he recently paid to have installed on the two-story home. An officer who later drove by the residence noted only one set of shutters missing.
3:10 p.m.
Marius Moise, 35, and Oane Barbu, 23, both carrying foreign identification cards, were arrested at Walmart. The store’s loss prevention officer identified the men as suspects in a money scam at Malvern’s location earlier that day. Moise had been banned from Walmart stores nationwide since September 2023. The pair reportedly had a getaway driver who fled the area while they were being detained. Moise was arrested for criminal trespass, and Barbu was arrested for obstructing governmental operations, as he initially led police to believe the two had arrived in town by way of Uber or taxi.
9:16 p.m.
Joshua James Bromley, 39, of Conway, was arrested at 408 N. 16th St. for third-degree domestic battery following a neighbor’s 911 complaint and officers’ subsequent investigation of a physical altercation involving Brumley and a female.
Saturday, Dec. 16
7:21 a.m.
An officer investigated a motorist’s report of an abandoned, wrecked vehicle at North 10th Street and Old Military Road. Later that afternoon the vehicle’s owner phoned police to report his vehicle was missing, saying he’d left it parked outside a downtown Arkadelphia bar and grill because he was too intoxicated to drive.
1:20 p.m.
A citizen turned in a wallet he had found on Pine Street in front of AutoZone. An identification inside the wallet belonged to a Caddo Valley man.
Sunday, Dec. 17
8:23 a.m.
A South 1st Street woman reported hitting a bale of hay on 10th Street between the sale barn and Caddo River bridge before dawn that morning. The vehicle sustained minor damage to its front bumper.
Police investigated a report of terroristic threatening on South 12th Street.
Police investigated a report of theft of a firearm on Evans Street.
9:08 p.m.
A North 16th Street woman reported the theft of an electric circular saw, an electric chain saw, and about 25 items of clothing from her residence, naming two potential suspects who were former tenants of the residence, apparently allowed inside by the landlord to gather some of their belongings.

A Ridge Creek Point man reported a porch pirate made off with a pair of walking shoes, valued at $150, that he had delivered to his address.

A deputy took a report of a parking lot accident involving a tractor-trailer at South Fork Truck Stop.
