Rodney Garvin Hardin, age 71, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Monday November 20, 2023, at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. He was born on August 25, 1952, in Arkadelphia the son of the late Garvin and Eva Ruth McCormick Hardin.

Rodney was a 1970 graduate of Bismarck High School and attended Henderson State University.   He was a retired cattle farmer and a Baptist.  Rodney enjoyed hunting, watching the ponies run at Oaklawn, watching sports, the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his grandchildren.  

Survivors are his wife, Cindy Neel Hardin of Bismarck, two step sons, Bryan Roberts (Heather) of Lockhart, TX and Chris Roberts (Lori) of Clarksville, TX, one sister, Paula Jackson (Andy) of Hot Springs, four grandchildren, Gunnar, Dylan, Keely and Bray Roberts, and one great-grandchild, Noah Roberts.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, November 27, 2023, at Welch Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Bryan Roberts, Chris Roberts, Dylan Roberts, Gunnar Robberts, Kevin Whitley and Kyle Whitley.

Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
