Rebecca Ann Murphy, age 76, of Arkadelphia passed from this life on Wednesday November 15, 2023, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born on June 29, 1947, in Hughes Springs, TX, the daughter of the late J.D. and Rebecca Moulton Nowlin.  

Rebecca was a retired Wal-Mart Associate.  She was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.  Rebecca enjoyed fishing, knitting, gardening, church activities and most of all spending time with her great grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rebecca is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Patrick (Billy) of Hot Springs and Jennifer Hines of Sparkman, nine grandchildren, Jeffrey Murphy (Lacy), Preston Patrick (Allison), Nikki Murphy Kennedy (Adam), Anna Corbin (Casey), Melvin Hines, Adam Hines, Pun Poomsan, Jessica Pace and Billy Joe Patrick, Jr., and numerous great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt Bethel Baptist Church, c/o Arlon and Debbie Seale, 520 Burrow Rd, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
