The Arkansas Economic Development Council met on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 10, at the DeGray Lake Resort State Park Lodge. Members of the 16-person AEDC council were in Clark County this week for the meeting and to take in the sights of the area. The group toured the Hostess facility and Veolia plant on Wednesday, followed by a reception and dinner at the lodge. AEDC Council meetings are held at various locations throughout the state.
