
Ricky Francis announced he is seeking re-election to the South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative board.
Francis was elected to the Board of Directors in 2011. He has received his Credentialed Cooperative Director and Board Leadership certifications with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association as well as Director Gold status. He has served on the Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC) statewide board and Arkansas Electric Cooperative Incorporated (AECI) Board of Directors.
Francis is a timber buyer for Antoine Hardwoods, Inc. and has more than 45 years in the timber and equipment industry. He is a graduate of Arkadelphia High School and an active member of First Baptist Church of Social Hill. Ricky serves his community as board member for Clark County Farm Bureau and is a 14-year committee member for Log-A-Load for Kids benefiting Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Ricky and wife Kathy live near Arkadelphia in Clark County. They have one daughter Brittany Rogers (Jackson) and two grandchildren Malorie and Jack.
