Glenva Mildred (Wingfield) Roberson, age 101, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the Plaza Assisted Living Center in Arkadelphia.  She was born September 21, 1921, in Gurdon, the daughter of the late Thomas Samuel and Mary Effie Clark Wingfield.  

Glenva was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting in her free time.  Glenva was a long-time member of Park Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Flave Tarpley Roberson, one son, Kenneth Mac Roberson, one daughter, Eula Faye Reese, one brother, three sisters, Coy Ryan, Fannie Ryan and Lourene Milloway, and one great grandchild, Emerson Blake Roberson.

Survivors are one daughter-in-law, Gail Roberson Murray of Arkadelphia, three grandsons, Warren Roberson (Denise), Jeff Roberson (Donna) and Carey Roberson (Carrie) of Arkadelphia, five great-grandchildren, Josh, Peyton, Emilee, Jacob (Brooke) and Baylee Roberson.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday June 23, 2023, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Bro. Larry Boggs officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at Welch Funeral Home. 

Memorials may be made to Park Hill Baptist Church.
