The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Thursday, June 1
1:42 p.m.
A couple reported their SUV was damaged in a hit-and-run while it was parked at Country Club Laundromat.

3:08 p.m.
A 911 call from a neighbor summoned officers to the 1600 block of O’Connell Street, where a man reportedly punched a female in the face before the pair got into a vehicle and left the area. A search for the couple was fruitless, and the department issued a BOLO (Be on the lookout for) to other police agencies.

3:21 p.m.
Officers responded to a nursing home for a report that a former employee had made verbal threats during a confrontation with her supervisor.

Wednesday, May 31
Police took an “information only” report involving a juvenile.

Police worked a second-degree battery at the 100 block of South Austin Street.

Wednesday, May 31
A deputy was summoned to the Baptist Health emergency room, where a juvenile was being treated for a dog bite.

Sunday, May 28
5:16 p.m.
A Central Road woman reported the theft of a silver 1989 Chevrolet single-cap pickup truck.

Arrests in Clark County

Tuesday, May 30
Neil Alan Frazier Jr., 39, was arrested for absconding.

Arron Nelson, 49, was arrested by Caddo Valley police and held for Dallas County.

Wednesday, May 31
Jackie McKin, 70, was held for continued detention.

Stephen Lynn Jester, 60, was arrested for a warrant.

Jerome L. Gurley Jr., 24, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for a warrant.

Riley A. Shuddon, 18, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for public intoxication.

Thursday, June 1
Austin Dewson, 31, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for a warrant.

Coy Raybon, 39, was arrested for theft of property.
