The Clark County Retired Teachers is seeking cereal/breakfast items for its local food pantries.
Sponsored by the CCRT, THV11 and Arkansas Food Bank, the Summer Cereal Drive collection is scheduled for Tuesday, June 6, from 6 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Brookshire’s.
Groups are encouraged to collect ahead of time and take their collections for a photo opportunity and a chance at a television appearance with KTHV’s chief meteorologist Tom Brannon.
Breakfast items accepted include cereal, granola bars, instant oatmeal, toaster pastries and other items. Collected food will help feed local children this summer.
