Charlotte Ann Williams Pope, age 81, of Gurdon passed from this life on Wednesday May 3, 2023, at her home. She was born on August 14, 1941, in Prescott, the daughter of the late Sharrod and Hazel Eakin Williams.
Charlotte was a beautician for over fifty years. She was a member of Beirne Baptist Church. Charlotte enjoyed playing guitar and keyboard, cooking for family and crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Rusty Williams, one sister Wanda McGee, and one daughter, Melinda Jane Burnley.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, William “Dub” Pope, one son, William Gregory Pope, one daughter, Shanna Arnold (Billy Joe), eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday May 5, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery at Sycamore in Beirne with Bro. Kevin Sims officiating.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
