Live music, food and drinks will have local residents dancing Friday. The City of Arkadelphia is gearing up for another Cinco de Mayo celebration beginning at 5 p.m. on May 5 at the Town Square lot north of Town Hall.
Known regionally for creating a fun, energetic environment that encourages everyone to get on the dance floor, the Northwest Arkansas-based SSG Tropical Latin band is returning for the 2023 event.
Traditional Mexican dishes like tacos and quesadillas will be available to purchase, but event coordinators also sought out non-traditional trucks to ensure variety.
The downtown Arkadelphia-based 67 Grill is the official beverage sponsor of the Cinco de Mayo celebration. Their menu includes a variety of beer, wine and margaritas.
