James David “Old School” Groves age 63, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Monday April 17, 2023, at CHI St. Vincent’s long term care facility. He was born on January 28, 1960, in Florida, the son of the late Rose Daniels.

James spent many years working as a carpenter in the local area. He enjoyed riding motorcycles.

James is preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his son, J D Groves and his wife Shelly, four cousins, Tamara Francis, Ron Fields, Micki Marks, Teri Donahoue, and one aunt, Debra Mead and her husband Chris.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
