A Hot Springs man died late Wednesday evening after colliding with two vehicles.
According to a fatal crash summary filed by the Hot Springs Police Department, Delano Lamont Gordon, 30, was “doing a wheelie” on a Honda CBR1000 in the inside southbound lane of Central Avenue near its intersection with Vineyard Street.
Gordon struck a northbound Toyota Camry turning onto Vineyard Street, ejecting Gordon from the motorcycle and into the path of an oncoming Ford Expedition. Gordon was run over by the SUV before it collided with the motorcycle, the report states.
The accident happened at 8:17 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, under clear skies and on dry roads, according to HSPD Officer Shawn Lowrey who investigated the accident.
Gordon’s body was transported to Carrigan Memorial Funeral Service.
