James Calvin Dickson, age 53, of Prescott, passed from this life on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at his home.  He was born September 20, 1969, in Hope, the son of John Calvin and Marion Cox Dickson. 

James attended Prescott High School and worked at the Prescott Sonic for many years until his illness.  He was a member of Prescott Church of Christ.  James enjoyed fishing, car racing and spending time with his family. 

He was preceded in death by his father, his step-father, Delmar Nelson, four brothers, Eugene, George, Raymond and Jerry Cooper, three sisters, Ora Faye Griffin, Helen Berry and Betty Sanders.

James is survived by his mother, Marion Nelson of Prescott, his wife, Shirley Dickson of Prescott, one son, James Tyler Dickson of Fouke, one daughter, Felicia Dickson of Prescott, one sister, Patsy Williams (Joey) of Prescott, three brothers, Jackie Cooper of Prescott, John Cooper of Statham, GA, and Keith Dickerson (Sheila) of Hot Springs.
