The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Friday, March 17
2:15 a.m.
A South 25th Street Circle resident reported receiving harassing text messages from a former roommate. Officers advised the complainant of warrant procedures.

Thursday, March 16
1:52 a.m.
Possible patient abuse by an employee was reported at a nursing home.

Wednesday, March 15
2:29 p.m.
Lashiya Ellis, 18, of Arkadelphia, was arrested at the storage units near Country Car Wash on Country Club Road, where she was involved in a disturbance with a male who reported she threw a rock through his car window. Ellis was taken into custody on charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct as she grew agitated with and swore loudly at the responding officers.

6:35 p.m.
Christopher Michael Hendricks, 35, of Arkadelphia, was cited at Walmart for shoplifting five packs of NBA trading cards valued at $77. The store was able to recover two of the stolen packages.

Police opened a felony case of financial identity fraud.

Monday, March 13
2:50 p.m.
Property damage was reported at Mill Creek Apartments, 1627 Welch St., where a guest reportedly backed into a carport pillar and beam as she was leaving the apartments.

4:13 p.m.
A man reported being duped out of $250 when he used CashApp to pay for a riding lawnmower from a Facebook user who apparently gave a false address in or near Warren. The suspect had also since blocked the complainant.

Monday, March 13
Terry Accor, 50, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver.

Bryan Witherspoon, 30, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear.

Tuesday, March 14
Kyle Johnston, 29, was arrested for failure to appear-third offense.

Kevon Stewart, 21, was arrested for bond revocation.

Terence McClellan, 37, was arrested for a child support warrant.

Wednesday, March 15
Stephen Rowton, 22, was arrested by Gurdon police and held for another agency.

Thursday, March 16
Shane Babineaux, 52, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for failure to transfer a driver’s license and held for Texas.

Sean A. Bright, 28, was held for drug court.

Damon Young, 32, was held for continued detention.

Ivan Summerville, 41, was held for continued detention.
