Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. Sunday, March 5
8:05 a.m.
Officers responded to a verbal altercation between two females at a Lark Place residence. The ladies were arguing over one wanting to drive an uninsured and unlicensed vehicle.
1:27 p.m.
Officers took a delayed accident report at a Country Club Road address.
7:11 p.m.
Police responded to Walmart for a physical altercation between two men that started in the clearance aisle. The victim told officers the known suspect struck him in the face repeatedly then fled the area, likely headed to a Country Club Road address. A pregnant female at the scene said she was also struck when she tried to intervene. Officers drove to the address they were given and arrested Jonathan Paul McCollett, 33, of Sparkman, for third-degree domestic battery.
Saturday, March 4
Police took an information only report and sealed it as a felony case under investigation.
2:25 p.m.
An officer was flagged down while driving on North 26th Street, where a man beside a pickup truck said his father had parked there and yanked him from the vehicle during a heated argument. The complainant said he then walked to the street and was struck by a passing vehicle but denied medical attention. He also refused a courtesy transport to the hospital, and left the area with his father.
Officers worked an assault case involving a juvenile.
Officers investigated a report of breaking or entering and sealed the report as a felony case.
Friday, March 3
4:41 p.m.
Rance Allan Hood, 63, of Delight, was cited at Walmart for criminal trespass following a complaint by a loss prevention officer of a banned person inside the store.
10:01 p.m.
Donald Ray Williams, 57, of Arkadelphia, was arrested at Carpenter Hill Apartments, 670 S. 6th St., for criminal trespass following a complaint of a banned person being on the property.
