The Ouachita Baptist University women’s basketball alumni will hold an inaugural alumni day on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Vining Arena.
The day will begin with a shoot around at 8:30 a.m. with the team at Vining Arena, followed by a breakfast reception at the Tiger Den. Coach Robert Dallimore and team plan to have a meet and greet with the alumni from 9:45 until 10:15 a.m.
“We would love the support of all the women basketball teams in Arkadelphia and surrounding areas to be a part of this,” said Géneen Souder, a 1992 Tigerette who is coordinating the event.
A new display and trophy case will be unveiled at the event, which is being carded as a fun-filled day of reminiscing with past players and coaches. Alumni are also encouraged to bring memorabilia from their days on the court to share in the trophy case display.
The alumni event will lead up to the Lady Tigers’ season finale as they take on University of Arkansas-Monticello at 1 p.m. at Vining Arena.
