The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Friday, Jan. 27
Police filed two separate reports of arson and sealed them as felony investigations.

Thursday, Jan. 26
Police filed a report of first-degree domestic battery and sealed it as a felony investigation.

Wednesday, Jan. 25
5:30 p.m.
A motorist reported being rear-ended on 15th Street while she was stopped for another motorist. She said she failed to get the other driver’s information but did coincidentally get her name while the two were stopped at a traffic light in Hot Springs.

Tuesday, Jan. 24
11:44 a.m.
A woman reported losing her wallet at Mr. Suds Laundry, 1309 Pine St.

8:38 p.m.
Officers responded to a physical altercation between two sisters at Cox Mobile Manor, 3027 Pine St. Both siblings suffered minor abrasions to their heads. No arrest was made, but the ladies were warned to steer clear of each other.

Monday, Jan. 23
11:21 a.m.
A motorist reported being struck by a city sanitation dump truck on Ritchie Street.

11:50 a.m.
Officers took a report of the theft of a wedding ring at Courtyard Gardens, 2701 Twin Rivers Dr.

6:02 p.m.
A Walmart loss prevention officer reported a banned customer had trespassed onto the property. She fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Arrests in Clark County

Monday, Jan. 23
Micheal Jones, 58, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for driving with a suspended license, failure to register and no liability insurance.

Larry Wilson, 69, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for possession of a controlled substance.

Christopher Prince, 44, was held for drug court.

Tuesday, Jan. 24
Bobby Holliman, 47, was arrested and held for continued detention and a parole violation.

Gregory Downing, 54, was held for another agency.

Christopher Holliman, 26, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for forgery.

Gregory Viele, 61, was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender (address change).
