ARKADELPHIA — The American Football Coaches Association, D2Football.com, and NCAA.com all have the Ouachita Baptist University football team in the top 15 of the final national rankings for the 2022 season.

The Tigers finish 2022 as high as No. 10 in the AFCA poll and the NCAA.com power rankings, and at No. 13 in the D2football.com poll. The Tigers have now been nationally ranked in 51 consecutive polls by AFCA, including all of the past four seasons.

Ouachita reached its program-best No. 3 ranking this season, which was highlighted by the program’s 14th consecutive winning record (11-1), an undefeated regular season, a Great American Conference championship, and an appearance in the D2 playoffs. It was the program’s fourth undefeated regular season in the past eight years, its sixth GAC championship in the 11-year history of the league, and its fifth NCAA playoffs berth.
