Julia Katie Campbell, age 67, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, December 19, 2022, at her home.

She was born October 19, 1955, in Queens, N.Y., the daughter of Carlise and Willa Dean Smith Campbell. Julia was a retired dispatcher for the Arkadelphia Police Department. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family in her free time.

Julia was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Carl and Keith Campbell.

Survivors are her mother, Willa Dean Campbell of Arkadelphia; two sons, Jeff Campbell (Tonya) of Caddo Valley and Derek T. Campbell of Arkadelphia; one daughter, Chrystal Harris of Astoria Queens, N.Y.; two sisters, Karen Campbell Dudley of Arkadelphia and Charisse Campbell of Queens, N.Y.; three brothers, Craig Campbell of Arkadelphia, Derek J. Rice of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Brian Carter of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, at Greater Pleasant Hill Church with Pastor Lewis Shepherd officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Welch Funeral Home. Family hour will be from 6-7 p.m. Interment will be in Beirne Cemetery.

Arkadelphia Police Department members will serve as pallbearers.
