The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Thursday, Dec. 8
9:01 a.m.
Officers responded to an attended death at an Ivy Circle residence.

11:08 a.m.
Officers responded to the Caddo River Bridge for a report of loose gravel in the roadway, spilled from a county-owned dump truck, that caused damage to vehicles. Five motorists complained about damage to their vehicles. Police assisted with traffic control as the county road department cleaned the spillage.

2:55 p.m.
A South 1st Street man reported a known female entered his apartment swearing and screaming, and that she damaged a television, curtain rod and his gold necklace as he escorted her out. He was advised of procedures to obtain a no contact order.

5:33 p.m.
A Valerie Drive man reported being harassed by a known female. Officers made contact with the woman outside a Pine Street business and instructed her not to contact the complainant again. The complainant was advised of procedures to obtain a no contact order.

8:26 p.m.
A Donna, Texas, man was arrested at Pioneer Inn following a complaint and subsequent investigation of a domestic disturbance in his room. The caller advised hearing a physical altercation in the adjacent room. As officers were checking the welfare of the potential victim, the suspect became hostile toward officers and lunged at one of them. He continued making threats toward officers as he was being hauled away to a patrol car and refused to give his name.

Wednesday, Dec. 7
Jamie Robbins, 45, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear.

Duke Wittnabert, 19, was arrested by Gurdon police for DWI, speeding, careless driving and possession of a controlled substance.

Thursday, Dec. 8
Jaime Vallejo, 34, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
