The Arkadelphian LLC today announced the addition of a new team member.

“I’m excited to have Kelly on board,” said Joel Phelps, who founded The Arkadelphian in summer 2021. “Kelly is a proven team leader, and her experience will certainly further build and strengthen this news company. I look forward to seeing Kelly unlock her potential in this endeavor.”

Prior to joining The Arkadelphian, Stiles worked as a property manager at Crye*Leike Pro Elite Realty. She was also editor-in-chief of Henderson’s student-run weekly newspaper, The Oracle, where she raked in several awards in journalism from the College Media Association. She additionally received an award from Henderson for Outstanding Leadership during her studies.

She and her husband Cory located to Arkadelphia from Mountain Pine in 2019 and fell in love with Arkadelphia’s “small town charm, its natural beauty, its proximity to large Arkansas cities; but, most of all, we love its people.”

Kelly and Cory are members of Park Hill Baptist Church.

“I believe that my new career is the perfect culmination of two great passions of mine — journalism and Arkadelphia,” Stiles said. “It brings me joy to aid local businesses in reaching their audience while supporting integrity-filled news reporting.”
