The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Tuesday, Oct. 25
Officers worked a criminal mischief incident involving a juvenile.

5:29 p.m.
Police were summoned to a residence at the 1000 block of Main Street, where a man reported the theft of an electric bicycle, which he had chained up outside and was valued at $1,000.

10:36 p.m.
A Meador Lane man reported the theft of a weed trimmer and four rod-and-reel combos from his carport. His security cameras captured an unknown male suspect enter the carport while a female acted as a lookout.

Monday, Oct. 24
7:45 a.m.
Officers responded to an unattended death at a Hardin Street residence.

9:14 a.m.
Officers were summoned to a South 10th Street residence, where a man reported his ex-girlfriend was breaking into his car and setting off the alarm. Contact was made with the ex, who was instructed to stay away from the area.

9:22 a.m.
A Walnut Street woman reported the theft of her cell phone, likely by a known person.

Police opened a case of forgery and sealed the report as a felony case.

9:35 a.m.
A 16th Street man reported he returned home from the hospital to discover someone had stolen his Bible, which he described as being dark blue with a “Pimp City” sticker on the back.

11:35 a.m.
A woman reported someone damaged her vehicle, parked at Walmart earlier that morning.

12:26 p.m.
Officers arrested a man for violating a protection order following a report from his estranged wife that he harassed her at a West Pine Street restaurant.

Police investigated the theft of a firearm and sealed the report as a felony case.

Monday, Oct. 24
11 p.m.
A truck driver reported being side-swiped by a rental box truck on Interstate 30 near Arkadelphia.

Arrests in Clark County

Tuesday, Oct. 25
Zachary Yancey Franz, 24, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for DWI.

Donnie Bearden, 37, was arrested for failure to appear, three counts of failure to comply and no child restraint.

Sarah Warren, 19, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
