REAL ESTATE: 9 homes exchange ownership in Clark County

Clark County real estate transactions recorded Oct. 7-21 having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk and Data Scout. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price, property description when available, and mortgage information, and does not withhold names.

A 1,730 SF brick home on Millcreek Drive in Arkadelphia sold for $227,000 to Preston Crowder and Cecilia Howell, who purchased the property from Brian and Sarah Fowler by way of warranty deed on Oct. 18. The Fowlers bought the home in 2020 for $160,000. The Crowders are financing the transaction with a mortgage of $127,000 through Southern Bancorp.

A 1,533 SF frame siding house and 111 acres of timber on Dickerson Road, Gurdon, sold for $150,000 to Matthew and Devin Greene by way of warranty deed. The Greenes are financing the transaction with a mortgage of $142,500 through SWBC Mortgage Corp. Previous owners were the Johnnie and Margaret Casteel Revocable Family Trust.

Fifty-five acres of timber on Kansas Road, south of Ewing Road, sold on Oct. 20 for $211,992 to James Heath, who purchased the land from Frances and Eugene Franklin.

A 1,662 SF brick home at Highway 8 and Calvin Road in Amity sold for $269,900 to Robert and Volha Stockford by way of executors special warranty. The home and 7.5 acres had belonged to Douglas Partridge. The Stockfords are financing the transaction with a mortgage of $256,405 through Primary Residential Mortgage Inc.

USDA Rural Development acquired a 1,416 SF frame siding house on Hot Springs Drive in Caddo Valley for $102,600 by way of mortgagee’s deed. The previous owner was Ella Jo Trejo.

A 2,167 SF brick home and 3 acres on East County Line Road near Dalark sold for $`125,000 to Christopher and Charlotte Watson by way of warranty deed. Previous owners were Charlie and Brooke Montgomery. The Watsons are financing the transaction with a mortgage of $100,000 through the Bank of Delight.

Win-Ko Land Co. LLC purchased 83 acres of timberland on Highway 51 east of Cole Road near Okolona for $100,000. The Oct. 7 transaction is being financed by a mortgage of $135,000 through the Bank of Delight. Previous owners were Michael and Amy Gathright.

A 1,407 SF brick home on South 23rd Street in Arkadelphia sold for $160,000 to Barnabas and Lindsay Barrett. The transaction is being financed with a mortgage of $157,102 through Cornerstone Home Lending. Previous owners were Andrew and Carrie Burt, who purchased the home in 2021 for $135,000.

A 1,612 SF frame siding home on Center Street in Arkadelphia sold for $135,000 to Ashley Lavine. Previous owners were Vernon and Laterrica Moody, who purchased the property in 2016 for $89,000.

A 2,292 SF brick and frame home that sits on 10 acres of mixed pasture and timber on Razorback Road near Hollywood sold for $180,000 to the Veronica McCollett Trust. Previous owners were Bethany and Dustin Stockton, who purchased the property for $64,000 in 2014.

A 2,556 SF brick home on Magnolia Drive in Arkadelphia sold for $325,000 to Steven Bear. Previous owners Wesley and Michelle Collver purchased the home for $254,000 in 2021.
