The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming 2022 general election is Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Clark County Clerk Mona Vance is urging voters to register by one of the following methods: download a form online and mail it in, or visit her office, located upstairs in the Clark County Courthouse. Vance said she recommends citizens visit her office.

Vance said citizens who registered to vote with the Department of Motor Vehicles should double-check with the county clerk’s office to ascertain the form was received, especially if those people didn’t receive a voter identification card.

Early voting begins Monday, Oct. 24, at the Arkadelphia Recreation Center, located at 2555 Twin Rivers Dr. Early voting ends at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7. The polls will be open on the two Saturdays prior to the Nov. 8 Election Day.
