Storm-damaged stadium forces Bismarck to move home game

The Arkadelphian

The Bismarck Lions football game against Rison on Friday, Sept. 2, was originally scheduled to be played at home, but because of ongoing repairs to the stadium the Lions will be playing the Wildcats on the road.

“Due to damage incurred by the recent storm to the stadium lights, which will require extensive repair work, this week’s game has to be moved,” the Bismarck School District announced on social media.

“We are making every effort to have these repairs completed in time for next week’s home game. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your support and understanding.”
